White City Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in White City, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is served by the Central Line between the East Acton Tube Station and Shepherd's Bush Tube Station, in Travelcard Zone 2.
White City Tube Station was opened in 23 November 1947 to replace the Wood Lane Tube Station. Its design won an award at the Festival of Britain which was held in May 1951. This is the innermost surface station for the Central Line, after which the trains enter the tunnel to continue underground.
