Wanstead Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in the London Borough of Redbridge. It is one of the station on the Hainault loop of the Central Line. The station is between the Leytonstone Tube Station (heading towards Ealing Broadway/West Ruislip) and the Redbridge Tube Station. It is in Travelcard Zone 4.
The Wanstead Tube Station is located on Harrier Avenue, which is right above the underpass of the A12 Road. The station is located opposite the open field called The Green. It was first opened in 1947, and was refurbished in 2005. It has two platforms. Buses passing this way include 66, 101, 145, 308, W12, W13, W14, Night routes N8 and N55.
