Victoria Embankment is a road and riverside walk along the north bank of the River Thames in London. It starts at the approach to the Westminster Bridge, in the City of Westminster, and ends at Blackfriars Bridge in the City of London.

The Victoria Embankment was constructed between 1865 and 1870. To build it, many of the prime riverside properties lining the Thames had to be bought up.
