Tooting Broadway Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Tooting, in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The station is located at the junction of Mitcham Road and Tooting High Street in Travelcard Zone 3. It is served by the Northern Line between the Tooting Bec Tube Station (heading towards Edgware, Mill Hill East or High Barnet) and Colliers Wood Tube Station (heading towards Morden).
As with other stations along this strech of the Northern Line, the building was designed by Charles Holden. It opened to the public in 1926 for the City & South London Railway, the precursor of the Northern Line. In front of the station is the statue of King Edward VII.
