The Portrait Restaurant is housed on the roof top of the National Portrait Gallery. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Gallery's new Ondaatje wing. At 92 feet above ground, the restaurant offers splended views of Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall towards the Palace of Westminster across the Thames and London Eye. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, and twice a week (Thursdays and Fridays, coinciding with the Gallery's extended hours) for dinner. It sits 80 guests while the bar area seats 25.
