St John Restaurant, opened in 1994, is located at a corner of Smithfield Market, housed in a part-townhouse part-smokehouse building that has been used for a variety of purposes before becoming the restaurant that it is today. It serves up a menu that is faithfully British with a pig motif - there is plenty of offal on offer here: salted kid's liver, rabbit's heart, kidneys, liver and more.
