Russell Square Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Bloomsbury, in Travelcard Zone 1. It is served by the Piccadilly Line between Holborn Tube Station and King's Cross St Pancras Tube Station. This small yet busy subway station is on Bernard Street.

The Russell Square Tube Station first opened on 15 December, 1906, for the then Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway. Today it is used mostly by office workers and tourists staying at the many hotels in Bloomsbury. Nearby sights include the British Museum, the University of London, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Russell Square Gardens.
