Royal College of Music is a leading music school in England. It is located in South Kensington, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The Royal College of Music was founded by Royal Charter in 1882, by the Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII. It was originally located to the west side of the Royal Albert Hall. Its current premises was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield in the Flemish Mannerist style. Located on Prince Consort Road, it was completed in 1894. The building was funded by two generous donations made by Samson Fox, a Yorkshire industrialist. His statue, along with that of the Prince of Wales, stands at the entrance hall of the college.
