Parsons Green Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Parsons Green, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The station, which is in Travelcard Zone 2, is served by the District Line between the Putney Bridge Tube Station (heading towards Wimbledon) and the Fulham Broadway Tube Station (heading towards Upminster or Edgware Road). The station is on Parsons Green Lane, a short distance to the north of its namesake, a triangular plot of green.
The Parsons Green Station dates back to 1880, when the Metropolitan District Railway extended its line to Putney Bridge. The station is one of the stops on the proposed Chelsea-Hackney Line, which may replace the District Line for much of the way along the Wimbledon branch.
The railway tracks runs on an overpass above Parsons Green Lane. The station itself is on the west side of the lane.
