North Kensington is a neighbourhood of West London, within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. It is part of Notting Hill. In fact, North Kensington was where the famous Notting Hill Carnival began. It was also where much of the scenes from the movie Notting Hill was shot.

North Kensington was once a slum area. However, it has since been gentrified, and property prices has since risen as investors buy up its Victorian houses.
