There are numerous monuments and memorials scattered throughout London. They were erected to commemorate specific events or historical personalities. These memorials range from those remembering tragedies, such as the Monument to the Great Fire of London. Then there are those built to remember soldiers who died in specific wars. This includes the Crimean War Memorial and the Cenotaph. In addition to these, memorials are also erected to remember cherished personalities who have departed. Among them includes the Albert Memorial, Victoria Memorial and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.
