Leicester Square Tube Station is a station of the London Underground on Charing Cross Road, a short walk from Leicester Square itself. It is served by the Northern Line between the Charing Cross Tube Station and the Tottenham Court Road Tube StationPiccadilly Line between the Piccadilly Circus Tube Station and Covent Garden Tube Station. The Leicester Square Tube Station is in Travelcard Zone 1.
The Leicester Square Tube Station was first opened in 1906 for the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway.
