Stansted Airport is connected to London by at least two different rail links:
1. Stansted Express is a high-speed train that connects Stansted Airport railway station with London Liverpool Street railway station. By taking the Stansted Express, you can be in the middle of London within 45 minutes. The train runs once every 15 minutes and costs £16.00 one way, when booked online, and £24.00 return. First class tickets are also available at £24.50 one way and £39.00 return. First class features large, reclining seats, tables where you can work from, complimentary copy of The Times and The Evening Standard and at seat refreshment service. The Stansted Express makes a stop at Tottenham Hale. Passengers alighting at Tottenham Hale can take the London Underground Victoria Line to South London, West End and West London.

2. National Rail provides a cheaper alternative to Stansted Express. It goes to London Stratford railway station, with numerous stops along the way including Stansted Mountfitchet, Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow Mill, Harlow Town, Roydon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Enfield Lock, Angel Road, Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale. Fare is about £17.00 for Standard Class and £27.00 for First Class.
