There are a few bus and coach services between Stansted Airport and London. These are provided by easyBus and National Express. The ticket desk is located in the arrivals area, and is open from 6:00am to 1:00am every day. You may also buy the tickets on board the coach itself. The buses are parked in front of the Stansted Airport terminal building, between the "Fast Track" and the "15-minute pick-up" areas.

Coach Services

1. National Express, a leading public transport provider, runs a regular bus service between Stansted Bus Station and London. The bus routes below are from National Express for Stansted Airport. Passengers are allowed to carry on board 2 medium-sized suitcases weighing a maximum of 20kg each, and one piece of hand luggage that can fit into the overhead compartment.


  • A4: To Golders Green. Journey takes about 1 hour. Economy Single adult ticket costs £8.00.
  • A6: To London Victoria station, via Golders Green, Finchley Road Underground Station, St Johns Wood, Baker Street and Marble Arch. Service available up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. Journey takes between 1 hour 25 min to 1 hour 40 min. Economy Single adult ticket costs £10.00.
  • A9: To London Stratford. Journey takes between 45 min to an hour. Economy Single adult ticket costs £8.00.

2. Easy Bus EB3 operates a service between Stansted Airport and London Victoria Station. There's a bus every 30 minutes normal times and every 20 minutes at peak periods. The fare is £13.00 per person, pre-book. It takes about 65-80 minutes. To book a ticket, go to the easyBus website, www.easybus.co.uk.

3. Terravision operates Bus No. A50, a non-stop service between Stansted Airport and London Victoria Station. There's a bus every 30 minutes. The fare is £8.00 per person. It takes about 75 minutes. To book a ticket, go to the Terravision London website, http://www.terravision.eu/london.html
