Gatwick Airport is connected to London by at least two different rail links:

1. Gatwick Express is a high-speed train that connects Gatwick Airport railway station with London Victoria railway station. The Gatwick Airport railway station is located next to South Terminal. By taking the Gatwick Express, you can be in the middle of London within 30-35 minutes. The train runs once every 15 minutes and costs £17.90 one way, when booked online, and £30.80 return. First class tickets are also available at £25.50 one way and £48.00 return. First class features large, reclining seats, tables where you can work from, complimentary copy of The Times and The Evening Standard and at seat refreshment service. 2. FlyByTrain from Southern Railway provides a cheaper alternative to Gatwick Express. It goes to London Victoria, with a stop at Clapham Junction. Trains run every 15 minutes and the journey takes 35-40 minutes. The fare is £10.90 one way, £21.80 open return. You can book your FlyByTrain tickets by visit the Gatwick Connect website, www.gatwickconnect.com. Registration is required.

3. First Capital Connect provides train services from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria Station (42 minutes) and London Bridge Station (29 minutes). Prices go for around £9.00 for a standard single to £16.60 for first class single. Open return tickets are priced around £17.00 standard and £25.00 first class. Terminal Transfer

You can move between North and South Terminal by boarding the Gatwick Airport Transit, a three-car driverless mass-transit train that moves on a 1.2km long elevated two-way track. The journey between the two terminals take about 2 minutes (to be precise, 1 min 56 sec). It runs every 3 minutes during peak period and every 6 minutes during non-peak periods.
