Kentish Town Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Kentish Town, in the London Borough of Camden. It is located on Kentish Town Road, in Travelcard Zone 2. The station is served by the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line between the Tufnell Park Tube Station (heading towards Mill Hill East or High Barnet) or Camden Town Tube Station (heading towards Morden or Kennington).
The Kentish Town Station is also a railway station of the National Rail. It is served by the First Capital Connect between St Pancras International and West Hampstead Thameslink.
Kentish Town Tube Station began operations in 1868 for the Midland Railway as an extension to the St Pancras Railway Station. However, when the station was rebuilt in 1983, nothing of the original station building was retained. The separate station for the London Underground opened in 1907.
