The Kensington (Olympia) Tube Station serves as a terminus for the District Line. The next station is Earl's Court Tube Station, heading towards High Street Kensington. It is in Travelcard Zone 2.

Apart from the London Underground, the Kensington (Olympia) Station is also served by the West London Line of the London Overground between the Shepherd's Bush Station (heading towards Willesden Junction) and the West Brompton Station (heading towards Clapham Junction), and Southern trains of the National Rail between Shepherd's Bush Station and West Brompton Station.

The Kensington (Olympia) Station first opened in 1844 as the terminus of the West London Railway. It was then known as the Kensington Station, and at that time, was located to the south of Hammersmith Road. In 1862, the station relocated to the north of Hammersmith Road, and was renamed Addison Road Station. The station closed in 1940, at the outbreak of Second World War. When it reopened in 1946, it was renamed Kensington (Olympia) Station.

The Kensington (Olympia) Station is located off Hammersmith Road on Olympia Way. The railway line forms the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
