Ickenham Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Ickenham, in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Located in Travelcard Zone 6, the station is served by both the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line between the Hillingdon Tube Station (heading towards Uxbridge) and Ruislip Tube Station (the Metropolitan Line heading towards Baker Street or Aldgate, the Piccadilly Line heading towards Cockfosters).
The Ickenham Tube Station is located along Glebe Avenue in Ickenham. It first opened in 1904 for the Metropolitan Railway, the precursor of today's Metropolitan Line. The track underwent electrification the following year.
In 1910 the District Line began operating to Ickenham Tube Station as well. However services were transferred to the Piccadilly Line in 1933. The present station was built in the 1970's.
