You can buy Oyster Card from the Oyster card vending machines that you can find in most tube stations. In addition, you can also buy them from the ticket windows, from selected newsagents, Travel Information Centres and even online at the Transport for London website. I would suggest that if you haven't arrived in London, and have ample planning time, buy it online from the weblink I have just given you. You will be paying a deposit of £2.00 for the Visitor Oyster Card instead of £3.00 if you buy the regular Oyster Card.

Once you've obtained your Oyster Card, the next step is to put money into it. You do this at the Touch Screen machines, or at the ticket windows.
