Harlesden Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in the London Borough of Brent. It is mainly a station of the Network Rail served by the London Overground, but it is also used by the Bakerloo Line of the Underground between Stonebridge Park Tube Station, heading towards Harrow & Wealdstone, and Willesden Junction, heading towards Elephant & Castle. The station is in Travelcard Zone 3.
The Harlesden Tube Station as the Willesden Station which began operations in 1841 for the London and Birmingham Railway. That station closed in 1866 when the Willesden Junction station opened to replace it. The present station dates to 1912, when it was opened as the Harlesden Station. The Bakerloo Line began operations here in 1917.
