Hammersmith Tube Station (Piccadilly and District Lines) is a London Underground station in Hammersmith in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The station is on Travelcard Zone 2. It is served by the District Line between Barons Court Tube Station and Ravenscourt Park Tube Station, and by the Piccadilly Line between Barons Court Tube Station and either Acton Town Tube Station throughout the day, or Turnham Green Tube Station very early morning and late evenings. The station began operations on 9 September 1874 for the Metropolitan District Railway.

To the northwest of the Hammersmith Tube Station (Piccadilly and District Line), about 135 meters away on foot, is the Hammersmith Tube Station (Hammersmith & City and Circle Lines). Located on Beadon Road, this station serves as the western terminus of the Hammersmith & City Line as well as the Circle Line. It began operations here on 1 December 1868. The preceding station for these two lines is the Goldhawk Road Tube Station.
