Ealing Common Tube Station is a station of the London Underground in Ealing Common, in the London Borough of Ealing. It is served by the District Line (Ealing Broadway branch) and Piccadilly Line (Uxbridge branch). The station is in Travelcard Zone 3. It is located along Uxbridge Road.
On the District Line, the Ealing Common Tube Station is between the Ealing Broadway Tube Station (the terminus) and the Acton Town Tube Station (heading towards Upminster or High Street Kensington). On the Piccadilly Line, it is between Acton Town Tube Station (heading towards Cockfosters) and North Ealing Tube Station (heading towards Rayners Lane or Uxbridge).
The Ealing Common Tube Station began operations in 1879 for the then Metropolitan District Railway, which is today the District Line. It was known as the Ealing Common and West Acton Station until 1910, when it was renamed to its present name. The Piccadilly Line began serving this station from 1932.
