The London Borough of Bromley is a borough of Greater London to the southeast of Central London. The borough covers 152.8 sq km (59 sq mi) and is 15 km (9.3 km) from Charing Cross.
Until the mid 19th century, Bromley was still a rural part of England. It began to develop towards the end of the 19th century, and was added to Greater London in 1963. It comprises the former municipal boroughs of Bromley, Beckenham, Penge Urban District, Orpington Urban District and the Chislehurst section of the Chislehurst and Sidcup Urban District.

The main shopping area in Bromley are located along High Street. The Glades is the main shopping centre here. Among the stores located in Bromley include Marks and Spenser, BHS, Debenhams, Boots and Primark.

How to reach the London Borough of Bromley
Bromley is not served by the London Underground, so to go there by rail means taking the train. There are two railway stations in this borough namely Bromley North and Bromley South. Of the two, Bromley South gets more train services.
