British Red Cross Museum (map) is a museum archiving the history of this imminent institution. The museum is geared more towards serious researchers than casual visitors. Within the museum are the archives of the involvement of the British Red Cross, including the relief work it carried out during the various wars. At the British Red Cross Museum, you can go through reports on the relief work at the many historical warfare including the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871), the Turco-Servian War (1876), Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878), Zulu War (1879), Boer Rebellion (1881), Egyptian Campaign (1884-1885), Servo-Bulgarian War (1885-1886), Rhodesian Rebellion (1896), Turco-Greek War (1897), Sudan Expedition (1898) and South African War (1899-1902).

The British Red Cross Museum also displays the medals and badges which were awarded by different organisations to it, as well as those awarded to members. Once can also view the uniforms and textiles of the Red Cross, along with medical equipment that was used.

The British Red Cross Museum is located at the British Red Cross headquarters at Moorfields. You can get there by taking the Circle Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line or Northern Line to the Moorgate Tube Station. The British Red Cross is just a short distance from there.
