Blackheath is a suburb of London within the London Borough of Lewisham. Located on the southeastern part of Greater London, it got its name from the Heath, the open grassland separating it from Greenwich to the north and Lewisham to the west. Some parts of Blackheath is actually within the London Borough of Greenwich.
